At least one author for each paper or application note and all workshop organizers and presenters must register to attend DocEng 2016. All papers must conform to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acm.org\/sigs\/publications\/proceedings-templates\" target=\"_blank\">ACM SIG Proceedings format<\/a>. Papers must be submitted through <a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=doceng2016\" target=\"_blank\">Easychair.<\/a>\u00a0Submissions for new papers are now closed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Camera-ready paper instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Final versions of reviewed papers are due July 17. Please follow the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sheridanprinting.com\/typedept\/doceng.htm\" target=\"_blank\">instructions<\/a> from Sheridan Communications to prepare and upload your camera-ready papers. If you are using LaTeX, please also see the <a href=\"https:\/\/doceng2016.cvl.tuwien.ac.at\/?page_id=501\" target=\"_blank\">additional instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Each submission must fit in one of the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><del><strong>Full papers<\/strong>\u00a0describing complete works of research (up to 10 pages)<\/del> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Closed<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><del><strong><span class=\"important\">Short papers<\/span><\/strong> describing smaller complete works of research or novel challenges or vision<\/del>s (up to 4 pages)<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0<strong>Closed<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><del><strong>Application notes\/demos<\/strong> describing systems or tools of interest (up to 4 pages)<\/del><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0<strong>Closed<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><del><strong>Doctoral consortium<\/strong> intended to provide a venue for student researchers presenting their work (up to 2 pages)<\/del><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0<strong>Closed<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Papers must describe unpublished work that is not currently submitted for publication elsewhere. Submitters should also be aware of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acm.org\/publications\/policies\/plagiarism_policy\" target=\"_blank\">ACM\u2019s Policy and Procedures on Plagiarism<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>All submissions will undergo a rigorous single blind review process considering the originality of work, the quality of research or analysis of experience, the relevance to document engineering, and the quality of presentation of ideas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DocEng is a single track conference attended by a community of academic and industrial researchers.
